A toast to the bride and the groom!
The akad nikah ceremony was held at the bride's house in SS19, Subang Jaya on Friday, 22/02/2008 (hmm..what a nice number!). Being excited about the whole thing (since this was my first assignment of shooting wedding ceremony), I was among the first guest who arrived, at about 8pm. And also the second last person to leave, at about 12am, just before the "real" photographer left the house.
To the lovely couple, and friends who visit this page, these are the photos taken during that memorable night. Though not so "canggih" like those shots taken by the pro, I hope that it will be a good start for me before I move to dslr and become a pro and then start charging people for the service rendered, hee..hee. So, Alin and Amri, you guys are very lucky cause I didnt charge a single cent, ha..ha. Anyway, thanks a million for giving me the "free" exposure in this line.

Hi again! Since im on leave today, i managed to do some editing on the photos which I took last Sunday at Bukit Cerakah, Shah Alam. Lots of editing required as the photos were not that good. Im using the combination of Picasa2 and Photoscape as im not really good with photoshop 7.0 (im yet to complete the course!).

FMDC Outing @ Tmn Tasik Shah Alam

This is my first outing with FMDC members dari caw.shah alam. At first, part of the agenda was to explore the lake garden and shoot sunset/nature/whatever etc. Hmm..apakan daya, hujan turun dengan lebatnya. So photo shooting berakhir kat Kedai Kopi, tepi tasik tu. We had a lovely time chit chatting (selalunya dok berchatting kat forum je..) dan bertukar pendapat tentang camera n accessories yg canggih2 tu. Nampak gayanye nak kena tukar pakai D40x or EOS400d lepas ni la...pilih2 cepat.

I shall say that this is the most wonderful encounter as the search for the sun was rather spontaneous. While waiting for my seafood tomyam ready at one of the restaurants near the river, the sun was setting down nicely right in front of my eyes. I need to run until the end of the old wooden jetty (not to mention with potholes all over), just to catch the glimpse of the sunset. Well there were many boats and some fishermen just came back from the sea. The spot where I was standing was a little bit swampy and dark. I hope that it's worth the try!

Cuti-cuti Malaysia - Teluk Cempedak

Since it was a long CNY holiday, why not discover Kuantan? Well, actually it was a second choice after the failure to book any hotels in Kuala Trengganu. Thought of going for snorkelling at Pulau Kapas, but what to do, all the hotels in KT and the islands are fully booked. Next time, baby.
Teluk Cempedak, it was rather frustrating as there was nothing special to experience. The beach was influx by so many people, hardly any activities can be done. Hmmm...we have to look after a new spot.
Pantai Balok, about 5 km from there, offers better view though the beach is not suitable for swimming.

Picnic at Sungai Congkak

After almost 15 years of abstaining myself from jumping into the river (for no reason actually), I finally brought the kids to Sg Congkak, located in Hulu Langat. This was the very first time for both of them who got as excited as their mother (and my maid as well). We reached there as early as 10am and the water was so cold until our lips turned blue. We brought along nasi kacang and sambal udang (i forgot to snap on that!) prepared by mom. Only photos of the sungai and kids are shown cause the photographer in swimming suit is not suitable for public viewing (18sx). Ha..ha..jangan harap.
