Bali...another day in paradise
|
|
It was my 4days and 3nights' trip to Bali on Dec 4th 2007 but there wasn't enough time to discover the whole of Bali. Missed places like Uluwatu, the mountains and the outskirts. Wish that i could return to Bali for a more adventurous discovery next time
Oh ya! I missed the Kecak Dance too. What a waste....

Wedding Of Hizril Ismi and Nurul Izan...
|
|
Pics were taken at the bride's house in Ampang, a day after the akad nikah ceremony. Hereby presenting.............
A toast to the bride & bridegroom with the following message:-
to Nurul, congratulations & welcome to the family...selamat menjadi isteri yg solehah..dunia & akhirat
to Hizril @ 'the auditor', dgn ucapan berikut:-
i. Congratulations
ii. Happy Belated 35th Birthday on 1/1/08 hari tu (haii...baru nak kawin?)
iii. Oleh kerana the photographer masih tak berjaya nak hack Maybank's eportal and publish all your wedding photos there, maka di sinilah tempatnya tersebarnya foto2 sensasi tersebut.
iv.
Ha...lagi satu, upah buat hantaran kahwin yg berdulang2 tu...takkan takde kot. Kesian tau, photographer ngan mak dia 7 hari 7 malam tak tido, nak buat hantaran.
vii. Cukupla..sikit2 buli. Kalau tak puas hati, boleh komen kat bawah...
Selamat Pengantin Baru!!!!!

Trip To Bandung
|
|
The photos were taken in April 2007, during my 2nd visit to Bandung, West Java. Enjoy the pics!!!
Tangkuban Perahu and the Legend of the Mountain
Tangkuban Perahu is an active volcano, 30km north of Bandung, the capital of West Java, Indonesia. A popular tourist attraction where u can actually hike or ride to the edge of the crater for an upclose view of the hot water springs. The volcano last erupted in 1983.
The name translates roughly to "upturned boat" in Sundanese. The legend tells of Dayang Sumbi, a beauty who lived in West Java. She cast away her son, Sangkuriang for disobedience, and in her sadness was granted the power of eternal youth by the gods. After many years in exile, Sangkuriang decided to return home, long after the two had forgotten and failed to recognize each other. Sangkuriang fell in love with Dayang Sumbi and planned to marry her, only for Dayang Sumbi to recognize his birthmark just he was about to go hunting. In order to prevent the marriage from taking place, dayang Sumbi asked Sangkuriang to build a dam on the river and build a large boat to cross the river, both before the sunrise. Sangkuriang meditated and summoned mythical ogre-like creatures to do his bidding. Dayang Sumbi saw that the tasks were almost completed and called her workers to spread red silk cloths east of the city, to give the impression of impending sunrise. Sangkuriang was fooled, and upon believing that he had failed, kicked the dam and the unfinished boat, resulting in severe flooding and the creation of Tangkuban Perahu from the hull of the boat.
-The end-
Anyway, during my visit, i was not able to capture the shape of the mountain from far which is said to look like the upturned boat. It was raining and a bit cold, 18 degrees C when u were at the top of the mountain.
The rest of the days were spent on shopping, shopping and shopping!!!! Those who need any tips on where to shop, to eat, leisure and transportation...can mail to me.
- Enjoy!!-
