Night Shot of Shah Alam Mosque..
|
|
Despite not knowing how to use my new EOS 450D for shooting at nite...I still want to do it by myself..at least for my first shot. I want to make mistakes as many as possible, hee....hee..so that u guys out there can correct me if my pics look terrible..
Here is the first one, which I took last Sunday after the Mat Rempits have gone home and the road was safe for everybody. I was standing on the fly-over above the round-about near the State Mosque (on the way to SUK building). An aperture of 9.5 was selected which gave me 30 seconds long shutter.
Only after I downloaded the pics for editing that I realized that the pics were quite bad. The pics were not sharp enough (maybe wrongly focused or what), there were existence of 'noise' on the pics maybe due to long shutter speed. The lights were terrible and the skies was so orangy..haa..haaa..macam2 la.
Anyway, I still feel that this should be displayed on my fp...as my first night shots with my EOS. Once I become pro one day...then I shall laugh at this pic..hee..hee
Yakinkah ku berdiri
Di hampar tanpa tepi
Bolehkah aku..MendengarMu
Terkubur dalam emosi
Tanpa bisa bersembunyi
Aku dan nafasku...MerindukanMu
Terpuruk ku di sini
Teraniaya sepi
Dan ku tahu pasti...Kau menemani
Dalam hidupku...bersendirianku
Teringat ku teringat
Pada janjiMu ku terikat
Hanya sekejap ku berdiri
Kulakukan sepenuh hati
Peduli ku peduli
Siang dan malam yang berganti
Sedihku ini tak ada erti
Jika Kaulah sandaran hati
Kaulah sandaran hati
Sandaran hati
Inikah yang Kau mau
Benarkah ini jalanMu
Hanyalah Engkau yang ku tuju
Pegang erat tanganku
Bimbing langkah kakiku
Aku hilang arah
Tanpa hadirMu
Dalam gelapnya
Malam hariku

The Gabai Waterfalls
|
|
This is my first visit to Sg Gabai Falls...didn't know that the fall is quite high up and tall. As early as 9 in the morning, the place was already crowded with people. The images taken are mostly around the first cascade as I was unable to proceed further up to the next cascade. I was told by the passer by that the higher cascade could offer better view and less distraction. What can I do, the time was limited and that I'd to figure out on focusing using the tripod. Luckily, the settings had been pre-determined.
First time using Av with aperture adjusted to f.22 and shutter speed of 1/15, these are the images taken using tripod (for the first time as well). My first waterfalls pics, though it was not that satisfactory (not up to my imagination!)..It was a great experience..And I'll be going there again in a the near future, this time maybe during weekdays..

KIDS PHOTOGRAPHY
|
|
While waiting for more landscape pics which are currently under edit...i'm uploading some of the shots taken during my daughter's kindie's carnival last Saturday. Apparently, it was quite difficult to do some of these shots as the kids could never sit still. What I did was doing it candidly so as not to disturb their concentration. Some of the composition was a bit off but what the heck..im just a beginner...

Enjoy the pics u guys!!!

Flower Power
|
|
A flower has power, remember the sixties,
its all about love, just ask the pixies,
a flower is strength, and beauty too,
with such pure colour, fragrance and hue,
yet stands up to all the elements, just like you,
and a flower reminds me of love,
with grace and purity, like a dove,
a flower is power, to stand alone,
or be with many and still feel at home,
it sweetens any garden, whether old or new
and everyday God waters it with the morning dew,
so remember a flower is Gods way of smiling,
of telling you everything`s fine,
to let you know you are shining,
and that everything is in line.
