Sinarilah Kiblat Ku.........

These were sunsets shots (now become one of my favourites subjects) taken near Teluk Bahang beach in Penang during my recent trip there. Shots were made from the hotel balcony using the 'sunset' mode of my compact digicam. Enjoy the pics!

Ski Trip....(UK Pics Part 4)

The trip to Scotland would be meaningless without a visit to the Aviemore mountain which is famous for skiing and other winter sports.

On the way back to Manchester, singgah sebentar di Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland....Edinburgh ni banyak historical places. One of them is the Edinburgh Castle, tempat bersemayam Queen Elizabeth the III (or was it no II?..not sure)...

This entry would be the first in the series of vacation taken while I was studying in UK. These are photos taken in Aviemore mountain resort in Scotland which is famous with the legendary Loch Ness monster and its Ski Resort.

Jiwang part 2 starts again. This time I will try to be more careful so as not to let some other people became hysterical and hospitalized because of my photos. These are some of the photos taken around London and Chester during Spring in 1994.

Remembering My First Canon...

Since this week's theme is "Jiwang Karat", im taking this opportunity to remember my first camera which I brought along to UK in 1993. It was called 'Canon Prima', a compact camera given by my late father as a gift, which i still keep until now. These are photos taken by a friend of mine near our rented flat in Salford, Manchester. It was the first winter experience for me, haa..syok giler main salji. Im also remembering my self (ha..ha) which was then only 20 years old...and kurus. Well, only and if only I could go back to the past....

Meet Alby the Albino Phyton
|

Introducing...Alby, the albino phyton that I found in Penang Hill the other day. He (or she...) is only 3 months old but as heavy as a 3 yrs old kid. I think its a male snake coz he is quite shy to pose in front of the camera, and keeps on turning his head and staring at me. Luckily he did not open his mouth or else I would have fainted. I have this crazy thoughts of having snakes or other types of exotic reptiles as a pet but hmmmm..managing them is not easy I guess.

Canopy Walk
|
|
These are photos of the Canopy Walk at Penang Hill. Found this place on the Net the other day as nobody ever tell me that such suspension bridge ever existed on the Hill. Very worth a try for those nature lovers out there. The tree top path is about 150 metres long and may be (not sure cause i dare not look down while walking), the height is about 50 metres from the ground. With shaky hands and wobbly legs, I took 20 minutes to reach to the end. Not recommended for those who suffered from acrophobia.

The Wedding of Alin & Amri - Reception at Holiday Villa Subang

The Wedding Part II
The reception was held at Holiday Villa Subang on 24/02/2008, 2 days after the akad nikah ceremony. Some shots here were taken in their honeymoon suite (room 507), walking their way to the hall and some were in the hall itself where the grand ceremony took place. I couldn't do much with the small camera of mine in the dimly lit hall. So, some of the photos were edited to add brightness and some "feel" into them. I think I can do better if the EOS450D had came out earlier in the market. Cepatlah keluar...dah tak sabar dah nak beli dSLR ni..hee..hee.
